Find more about the history of the Stamford, CT parade here. The 28th annual Stamford St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place through downtown Stamford, Connecticut. The parade celebrates Irish culture, heritage, and community, and is a way to support the Irish Cultural Society. The parade includes bagpipe and pipe bands from the region, as well as local schools. It's recommended to bring kids and families to the parade

What to bring
If it is a cold day, bring a warm hat, warm gloves, and warm shoes. For a sunny day, you’ll want to bring sunglasses, suntan lotion, and a hat. The parade goes on rain, shine or snow. And of course, it is traditional to be dressed in GREEN (or orange or white – colors of the Irish flag)!
